The TOC analyzer system TOCOR700 oxidizes the organic carbon in the water sample to CO2 which is then measured by an NDIR gas analyzer. Anorganic carbon which would falsify the analysis is previously removed by a stripper. The required carrier gas is produced by the TOCOR700 itself, so it can be operated independently from instrument air. A back-flushing filter unit for turbid water samples and a dilution unit for samples with high salt loads are available as options. The TOCOR700 is available in two versions:
